WVYB Music Program Fees: 2023- 2024

The WVYB Society is a non-profit society with all proceeds directed towards our Music Programming for Youth. We try to keep our Registration Fees reasonable. Help us do this by paying by transfer or cheque this results in the music programs receiving 100% of the funds paid.  See division tabs below for the WVYB's annual registration fees.

Payment: There are two payment options: Transfer or Cheque - email address register@wvyb.ca  (full or three post-dated payments). You will receive an automatic confirmation of your musician's registration by email. Those paying by cheque must mail their cheque or post-dated cheques, please enclose a copy of your musician's registration confirmation. There is a $50 fee for NSF cheques.  No refunds will be given after October 31st or 30 days after registration, whichever is later.

ADDITIONAL FEE AMOUNTS:  Add the appropriate fees below to your musician's first payment in September.

Annual Symphonic Marching Band Uniform Fee:  Symphonic musicians pay a $100.00 annual fee for the use of the formal marching band uniform supplied by the WVYB. *Symphonic Band musicians only - select at registration the uniform box.

​

Percussion Fee:  There is an additional fee of $50 for percussionists, which is used to defray the maintenance and replacement costs of the percussion equipment. *At registration select the percussion fee box.

​

International Student Fee:  An additional amount of $175.00 is applicable for all International Students. *At registration select the international fee box.

​

Note:  Symphonic Band Members are required to purchase a casual WVYB polo shirt and jacket. *Will be available to purchase during the season.

Multi-Program Musicians:  Instruction & Admin Fee please email Diana Chalk at dchalk@wvyb.ca

FEE REDUCTIONS:  Deduct these amounts from the first payment in September

​

If more than one family member is registered; select the 2nd child discount to receive your $220.00 - 2nd child discount for the other additional musician ($100.00 registration fee and $120.00 - 4 tickets per family to a WVYB concert.

*An early registration discount of $50.00 for families who register on or before June 14th. Note our registration program will automatically adjust the amount of your payment.

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:

​

Four tickets to a WVYB concert and the parent membership in the West Vancouver Youth Band Society.

​

Workshops:  All Band and Strings musicians sessions.

​

NOTE: All Additional Fees must be paid together with the first payment.
